Joseph, called to rule in Egypt, was closer to His dream when he lay in prison, than when he was home with his family. David was closer to His dream as he was in hiding in the caves, than when he played his harp for Saul in the comfort of the palace. You may feel you are far from the promises of God…but cling to His word! He always keeps His Word! He will not fail you, He will not forsake you, and though you fail, though you fall short….never quit this race! Never give up, never let the fiery darts of the enemy’s accusations shame you out of this race that God has already run for you. Stay close to the Lord! Stay on the path set before you, rebuke the lies of the enemy and press on.
