I created this piece during a very trying season, filled with the discouragement and exhaustion of extensive spiritual warfare.  The attacks from the enemy were as consistent and predictable as the waves upon the sea, one upon  another, unrelenting, and overwhelming.

Storms will always come. Where will you run when the waves rise to overtake you? What will you cling to when your world shakes around you? When the earth gives way beneath you, where will your feet find refuge? God is our rock, our only firm foundation, our only hope, our comforter. When the storms rage, He is our refuge! Let our voices rise from amongst the thunder of the waves as we sing His praises. The louder the storm, let our praises be louder still. He is on the throne, He is in control. He is with you in every season. Never give up.

May our very life be proof the enemy has failed.  We will rise above the waves, stronger than ever before, as we keep our eyes on the one who commands them.

Stand upon His promises, stand upon His faithfulness, and walk upon the waters before you.

~She surrenders it all with the lifting of her hands, standing upon the waters she is confident in the Lord her God. She does not sink. Her mind is clear, distractions are far from her in the presence of her King, for she has decided…..she will hold nothing back. Like a flower budding in springtime her soul lays bare before her first love...she is all she was made to be...by the hand of her Maker...no flaws, no blemishes to be seen...for He has made her whole, complete in Him.~
