In this moment, Jesus declared victory over sin, death and darkness. The cross became the ultimate testament of God’s love and the fulfillment of his plan. Christ’s sacrifice fulfilled the promise of our redemption. This is a declaration that the enemy has been defeated. And now, we stand in the finished work of the cross, clothed in grace, redeemed by His blood and forever transformed by his love.
It is done. It is complete. In Christ Jesus, the victory is own and you are forever His. We walk in His victory every single day.
Written on the cross is, “It is Finished,” in Hebrew.
