What is in Your Hand?

What is in Your Hand?

God asked Moses, “What is in your hand?”

Then Moses answered [the LORD] and said, “What if they will not believe me or take seriously what I say? For they may say, 'The LORD has not appeared to you.’” And the LORD said to him, “What is that in your hand?” And he said, “A staff.” Then He said, “Throw it on the ground.” So Moses threw it on the ground, and it became a [living] serpent [like the royal symbol on the crown of Pharaoh]; and Moses ran from it. But the LORD said to Moses, “Reach out your hand and grasp it by the tail.” So he reached out his hand and caught it, and it became a staff in his hand-- [“You shall do this,” said the LORD,] “so that the elders may believe that the LORD, the God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has [most certainly] appeared to you.”

God cannot use what you will not give Him

& He will not ask you to use what He has not given you

May the Lord give me the words that He wants me to speak to your heart today. May they not be my own, but His own. May they not be for my benefit…but for your benefit... and ultimately for His benefit.
Amen

So many people have asked themselves, just as I have…How can I make a difference in this life? When I asked…The Lord asked Me…”What is in your hands?” My response was… “paint brushes.” And it has been a wild ride ever since. Often times we think that the things we are good at, or the things we love to do are small, and maybe even insignificant. But I have learned, that with God, nothing is insignificant. That brings me to my question to you…What is in your hands? What are the things that you are passionate about? For some of you it may even be a passion or dream that lay dormant in your heart. Maybe, it is something you put down years ago, and are too afraid to pick it back up. Or maybe something happened to cause you to shut down your gift? Maybe it is something that you have never even tried before…but it has been in your heart. Whatever it is…it is the talent that is tied to your destiny, your calling and your purpose. These are the things that the Lord longs to

use in your life. They also lead to something very powerful…and that is influence. As the kingdom of God this is how we can take territory and reach so many people from a place of beauty and excellence. But it isn't an easy journey. Infact, it is a journey lined with learning lessons, mistakes and losses. But In this walk, instead of being defined by your failures, you get to be refined by them. That's the beauty of what comes along with saying “Yes” to Jesus.. As we take steps forward in faith even as we have no idea what we are doing…we can bring Him into that place of our vulnerability and He becomes our teacher, our encourager and our counselor. What is your gift? Maybe it is cooking, maybe it is jewelry making, teaching, or maybe it is your business. Never underestimate how God can use your “yes” coupled with your gifts and talents. Give those unto the Lord and you will be amazed at what He can do with them.

“In this walk, Instead of being defined by your failures, you get to be refined by them. That's the beauty of what comes along with saying yes to Jesus.”

Lance Walnau teaches the incredible lessons of the 7 mountains of influence. It is powerful and life-changing. I am so glad that I learned this, even before I ever knew I could paint.

THE CLIMB

Once you can figure out what it is that you are passionate about, what you love to do, or what it is that's in your hand…it is ok to realize you may be at the bottom of that mountain. And to get to the top, it will be a climb, and it will be a journey. You will come up to steep cliff faces, and obstacles that may make you want to turn back. But at every turn you can call on the Lord and He will be near to you and teach you in that moment. You will learn that when you fail…which you will, The Lord will teach you to fail forward. And your failures will teach you your greatest lessons for your future.
Getting to the top of that mountain is the goal, but the journey along the way is the most important part of it. Making the climb will give you influence. As you refine your gifts and talents and overcome great obstacles along the way, your walk will touch lives and inspire others. And the experience that you gain from the journey is probably more rich with treasure than your talent or gift can ever be on its own. The Lord will have made His work known in your life to others because of the partnership with Him that is so evident in your life in the ups and the downs.

James 1:17 - Amplified Bible

Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above; it comes down from the Father of lights [the Creator and Sustainer of the heavens], in whom there is no variation [no rising or setting] or shadow [a]cast by His turning [for He is perfect and never changes].

The Mountain Top

For far too long have we as Christians been complacent and scared, comfortable and complacent. And in that time we have allowed for the media, Hollywood and for the world to take these places of influence in our society and culture. We washed our hands of taking ground and discipling Nations. Those days are gone. If we want to make a difference in this day and age, we must take responsibly and take the mountain that God has called us to. And along the way we must help others to make the climb as well.

Your testimony touched my heart , mind and soul so deeply . I cried my eyes out reading everything on your sight , because I have grown up so much like you . I was alone at 13 . Molested often , abused . Brought up in a home where both parents went to church , same as you , they didn’t live for the Lord . Divorced when I was 8 . I have been in a marriage of 30 years that I have been abused physically and emotionally . I have worked at multiple jobs that required heavy labor , so now I am 59 and can’t do much . I love the Lord with all my heart , but in the emotional control in my life , I can’t seem to get a good grip on serving the Lord the way that I should , and that leaves me feeling lost . My dream is to go to Bible school and share Gods word with the lost . Due to PTSD I have a hard time comprehending things that I read now . It wasn’t like this before . Please pray for me . You are so beautiful in “Every Way “ God bless you . Your Art is breathtakingly beautiful. My prayers for you : Pam Soule 💯🙏🏻💜

🙏🏼 Amen 🙏🏼 I’ve recently begun passing out a Booklet, Spiritual Warfare Prayers, by Valentine Publishing House. It’s POWERFUL!!! I’ve been Praying, “Lord, Lead me. Put the people, in front of me, that you want, in front of me & make the Words come out of my mouth. Use me, Lord, to do your Will.” It’s been an unbelievable journey, this past year!! I’ve always enjoyed having conversations, with various people. And I Received confirmation, that passing these Booklets, to those I meet, with instructions on how to Say it, OUT LOUD, is my new mission. God Bless You!! 🙏🏼

Love is a Perfectly Blind Adventure
Our lives are filled with moments of uncertainty, times when we wonder anxiously about what lies ahead. In these moments, it's all too easy to try and seize control, driven by our impatience or a perceived need to manage everything. But this only leads us off the path God has set for us. The truth is that being spiritually blind – stepping out without faith in Him – can lead us down roads we were never meant to travel. Yet, when we trust in God, His plans for us often exceed our wildest dreams.
